theworldatlarge is my long overdue effort to document the extensive traveling and adventures I’ve had over the last decade. I have set foot on every continent, and explored many of the worlds mountain ranges, and in doing so have collected a long catalogue of writings and photographs. Thus, you have stumbled upon me laying this out for several reasons.

A Note on Photos – All photos have been taken with a very well used Sony a200. A very cheap SLR. I don’t edit photos. I don’t care to. Many don’t do justice, but I’m ok with that.
There are several exceptions as in more recent years many pics have been taken with a smart phone and sometimes edited.
